1. Nature of products – made to order

All posters sold on the website Where it all began are made to order.

Production is handled by our professional printing partner Gelato , through a network of certified workshops.

Each order is subject to:

  • With a personalized print

  • Made using a specific method

  • In packaging suitable for transport

Production begins only after the order has been validated and paid for in full.


2. Production times

The average manufacturing lead times are:

1 to 2 business days

These deadlines may be extended during periods of high activity (Valentine's Day, holidays, promotions, exceptional events).

Working days are defined as Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.


3. Delivery times and methods

Delivery is provided by:

  • DHL

  • DPD

  • or any other equivalent carrier selected by our logistics partner

Metropolitan France

3 to 5 business days after shipment

European Union

3 to 5 business days after dispatch

International

5 to 10 business days depending on the country

The indicated delivery times are indicative only and do not constitute a firm contractual commitment. They may vary depending on:

  • Logistical constraints

  • The weather conditions

  • Periods of high activity

  • Possible customs checks


4. Delivery costs

Delivery is free with no minimum purchase.

No additional shipping charges are applied at the time of payment, unless otherwise specified for certain territories outside the EU.


5. Order tracking

After shipment:

  • A confirmation email is sent

  • A tracking number is provided

  • Tracking is available via the carrier's website

It is the customer's responsibility to regularly check the delivery of the package.


6. Liability for information provided

The customer is solely responsible:

  • Regarding the accuracy of his address

  • Spelling

  • Postal code

  • From the phone number

  • Any details useful for delivery

In case of:

  • Incomplete address

  • Input error

  • Due to a lack of necessary information

The company cannot be held responsible for delivery delays or failures.


If a package is returned to the sender for these reasons, the customer may be charged for reshipping.


7. Package delay or loss

A delivery delay cannot give rise to:

  • Automatic order cancellation

  • Immediate refund

  • Compensation


In case of non-receipt within a period exceeding:


14 business days after dispatch


We will proceed as follows:

  1. To an inquiry with the carrier

  2. If necessary, to a reprint and reshipment


No refund will be issued until the carrier investigation has been completed.


8. Package declared delivered


If the tracking indicates “delivered”:

  • The carrier is liable.

  • The client should check with those around them, such as the caretaker and neighbors.

  • No automatic reshipment can be guaranteed.


Each request will be analyzed on a case-by-case basis.


9. Damaged package


The customer must:

  • Check the condition of the package upon receipt

  • Report any anomalies within 48 hours

  • Provide photos of the package and the product


After this period, no claims will be accepted.


10. Customs and International Taxes


For deliveries outside the European Union:

  • Customs duties or local taxes may apply.

  • These costs remain the sole responsibility of the client.


We cannot be held responsible for delays related to customs controls.


11. Force majeure


The company cannot be held liable in the event of:

  • Strike

  • Logistics blockage

  • Natural disaster

  • Health crisis

  • Administrative decision

  • Force majeure as defined in Article 1218 of the Civil Code
