1. Nature of the products

The products offered on the website Where it all began are personalized creations made to order and printed on demand via our logistics partner.

Each poster is made according to the elements provided by the client (location, date, first names, contact details or any other personalization), making it a personalized item.

2. No right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

Consequently, no cancellation or refund can be made after validation and production of the order, except in the cases provided for below.

3. Cases entitling the customer to a return or replacement

A return or replacement will only be considered in the following cases:

  • Product received damaged during transport
  • Obvious printing error attributable to production
  • Product does not conform to the confirmed order

Any claim must be made within 48 hours of receiving the package, accompanied by clear photos of the product and packaging.

4. Complaint Procedure

After reviewing the file, we will be able to propose:

  • A product replacement
  • A partial or full refund if justified

5. Return costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

In the event of a proven defect attributable to production or transport, the costs may be covered by Where it all began after validation by customer service.

6. Conditions for accepting returns

All returned products must:

  • To be in one's original state
  • Not to have been used, damaged or modified
  • To be properly protected for transport

Any return that does not comply with these conditions may be refused.

7. Customer data entry errors

Where it all began cannot be held responsible for personalization errors validated by the customer during the order (spelling, date, contact details, choice of model).

No refund will be given in the event of an error validated by the customer.

8. Package not delivered or incorrect address

In the event of an incomplete or incorrect address provided by the customer, the reshipping costs will be borne by the customer.

If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier (DHL or DPD) but not received, the customer must take the necessary steps with the carrier. La où tout a commencé cannot be held liable after delivery confirmation.

9. Refund processing time

If a refund is approved, it will be issued within a maximum of 14 days after the request is validated, via the payment method used when the order was placed.
